The Foundation's initiatives include workforce development programs (Rising Leaders Program recruiting 50 first-generation college students matched with businesses), education reform advocacy, young professional summits (hosting 300+ young leaders), and research to support Kentucky's economic competitiveness. The Foundation partners with businesses to provide professional development workshops and career pathway opportunities.

The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1969, is the leading business organization in Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati with more than 1,750 member companies representing approximately 170,000 employees. The chamber is a nationally accredited five-star chamber serving businesses of all types and sizes. The NKY Chamber operates multiple locations including Fort Mitchell (main office at 300 Buttermilk Pike), Covington (1840 Simon Kenton Way, Suite 5200), and Florence (828 Heights Blvd), and has established Business Councils in Florence, Fort Thomas, Newport, and Erlanger (launching January 2025). Services include networking events, advocacy, leadership development, workforce strategies, Northern Kentucky Young Professionals (NKYP) programs with quarterly Lunchtime Leader Chats, Encounter NKY talent retention program, and comprehensive training. The chamber's mission is to support and promote strong businesses and a vibrant economy in the Northern Kentucky region.

The Kentucky Small Business Development Center (SBDC) has been assisting the Commonwealth's small business community for 40 years. With 17 service centers statewide and experienced staff, KSBDC provides no-cost, confidential services including business coaching, business planning, access to capital, marketing assistance, market research, loan packaging, and business training. SBDC is co-sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration and administered by the University of Kentucky in partnership with regional universities and the private sector. In 2024, Kentucky SBDC was awarded a $300,000 SBA grant to provide coaching and specialized training to childcare small businesses across Kentucky. The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executives (KCCE), established in 1965, serves as the premier professional association for chamber of commerce leaders across the state. KCCE presents annual Excellence Awards honoring local chambers that exhibit innovation, outstanding community leadership, and excellence in operational areas including membership growth and retention, civic engagement, publications, and community impact. The 2024 Excellence Awards recognized chambers in multiple categories including Mt. Sterling-Montgomery County Chamber (Category 3), London-Laurel County Chamber and The Chamber of St. Matthews (Category 4), and Greater Louisville Inc. (Category 5). Individual awards went to Sandra Wilson (Paducah) as Chamber Professional of the Year, Virginia Hart (St. Matthews) as Staff Member of the Year, Kaci Foster (Maysville-Mason County) as Young Professional of the Year, and Mary Todd Ashbrook (Cynthiana-Harrison County) as Volunteer of the Year. Publication awards recognized chambers in Mercer County, Frankfort, Barren County, and Northern Kentucky.
