About HTML and How to Build a Web Site
HTML Basics will show you the raw HTML source code.
You will be able develop an understanding of exactly how a web site works
and interacts with a Internet Browser. You will also learn the basics
of HTML layout and design. You will also be able to create your own web
site (using a Text editor!)
IMPORTANT: There are also HTML Editors you can use to easily put together a web site. Manually typing in all the script and code provided here WILL NOT BE REQUIRED. If you can use a text editor such as "Microsoft Word" you will have no problem making a web site with a HTML editor.
When starting any project, whether it is a Web Site or a House. Your first steps are to Plan and Lay the foundation. In lesson #4 "Web Site Structure" I will show you a good web site directory structure to make your site easier to build, manage, upload, maintain, and upgrade. There are also a few things here you will need to know in order to build a decent web site (even with a html editor). Browse through these lessons and in no time you will have the knowledge/foundation to build a web site (very efficiently).

many free graphics you can use here. But, if you have a graphics editor
you will be able to create custom graphics for your web site.

Scripts and Code.
Web Server/Host: A Internet
Company that has Web Site servers connected to the Internet 24 hours a
day. Once uploaded you web site can be accessed by anyone in the world
with a computer, Internet Connection, and Internet Browser. Paid

FTP Program: (FTP means File
Transfer Protocol) It is a program you will use to transfer your web site
from your computer to the Internet.
