The International Crane Foundation (ICF) works worldwide to conserve cranes and the wetland and grassland ecosystems on which they depend. ICF is dedicated to providing experience, knowledge, and inspiration to involve people in resolving threats to these ecosystems.
 
Irvine Park Zoo: Bridgewater Avenue, Chippewa Falls
In 1906 William Irvine had a dream to establish a reserve that would enhance and protect the Chippewa Valley environment. Mr. Irvine then donated a number of acres to the city for this purpose. The size of the park has grown throughout the years and is now 318 acres. It has been a recreational resource of pride for Chippewa Falls residents and visitors for many years.

Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary: 1660 East Shore Drive, Green Bay, WI 54302
The Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary is a beautiful 700-acre urban wildlife refuge.  We are one of the largest Wildlife Rehabilitation Sites in Wisconsin.  We are also Green Bay's largest city park. The Sanctuary is open to the public year 'round with no admission fee. We have something for everyone!"
 

Henry Vilas Zoo: Madison
Dane County's Henry Vilas Zoo is surrounded by a park. The city park includes lush open green spaces for active play, as well as two playgrounds for children to explore. There is a ball diamond, a beach and in the winter the lagoon is maintained for ice skating.

The Milwaukee County Zoo is a serene home to more than 1,800 mammals, birds, fish, amphibians and reptiles with more than 350 species represented. However, the Zoo has become more than that to visitors. It is a site for workshops, holiday celebrations, summer concerts and food festivals.
