Butterfly

The Butterfly Pavilion combines science
education with hands-on fun to teach visitors about invertebrates, science
and conservation. Our interactive exhibits are geared primarily towards
families with kids ages 2 to 12 years old, but people of all ages embrace
the beauty and wonder of our tropical conservatory filled with 1,200 free-flying
butterflies imported from around the globe.

The Greenway & Nature Center
of Pueblo is located in beautiful Rock Canyon on the banks of the Arkansas
River. A delicate blend of aquatic, riparian, transition and semiarid grassland
habitats provide homes to a wealth of plants and animals. The Grounds suit
a variety of activities which include; picnicking, wildlife viewing, fishing,
kayaking and nature walks under the Cottonwoods. Miles of earth trails
make a great location for horseback riding or bicycling.

of 130 species. You will enjoy strolling through beautifully landscaped
grounds that lead you to Serengeti Safari, North American Grasslands, the

forest and the only underwater viewing of penguins in Colorado at the Ecocenter.

Center - now operating as “The Wild Animal Sanctuary”- is located just
outside of Denver, CO and is a state and federally licensed zoological
facility. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization (tax deductible)
and operate with your donations and the help of very dedicated people
who volunteer their time. We have been rescuing exotic wildlife and
endangered species since 1980, and are currently home to more than 155
Lions, Tigers, Bears, Jaguars, Leopards, Mountain Lions, Lynx, Bobcats,
Servals, Wolves, and other wildlife.
